We are new to the area and feel so fortunate we were referred to them. They completed plumbing on new home. Immediately corrected small faucet inconvenience. Then, we used them for a water softener. Took much time to explain process completely and took extra pains to drain new water heater and install new element because it was noisy. We didn't even ask them to do this. We saw both Chad and Matt. Both excellent. Highly recommend them.

When our hot water tank caused a flooded garage on an early morning when the temperature was 14 degrees below zero, Chad came within an hour to help us out. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had the device we needed at hand in his truck. The repair was fast and easy for him. He even gave us a hand with the icy water in the garage. The next day when a related part was not working, he came back to quickly repair it. We are incredibly appreciative of EK Plumbing and Chad’s quick response and expert repair. Knowledgeable, Competent, Professional, and Personable!

Chad, one of the plumbers with EK Plumbing was not easy to work with. As I have no opinion on the company itself, as I worked almost in entirety with Chad, I have been left with a strong distaste. My fridge line had frozen and during the mitigation process, 3 additional pipes were accidently broken. Instead of fixing those leaks, this plumber wanted to re-pipe my entire home. My plumbing was installed in 2006. (The plumber noted that the incorrect glue was used on the CPVC pipe. We had not had 1 pipe leak due to this "glue" in 13 years!). He stated that because the original plumber did not install it to code - he would not do the work unless he re-piped everything! He also required a HAZMAT crew to come in and demo my entire crawl space because a waste pipe came loose. (Despite the pipe being fixed, waste on protective layer of plastic cut out & removed and new plastic replaced). My honest and suggestion is this: If you have plumbing that is at least 10 years old, do NOT hire EK. I guess this business makes their money requiring their customers to re-plumb everything, if the wrong plumbers glue is used on the pipes! Thus far, I've received no quote or estimate to send to the insurance company, despite me waiting for 3 weeks; But I still get to pay for two (2) $89 Travel & dispatch fees and also $140 to cap off a 3/4" main water line. Hmmm! ???

So I was contemplating writing this review my conscience kept telling me to. I cannot say anything bad about Chad and his customer service or work ethics. It is top notch he stayed until the job was completed and I appreciate all of his efforts in that. My only complaint would be the final invoice. My issues was a clogged kitchen sink drain and my final invoice came out to over 800.00 bucks. After multiple credit cards and mouth to mouth resuscitation from my heart attack. I must say the work was done properly, although I wish they could have been more transparent of what the cost would be especially not getting quoted or estimated. Kinda seems high in comparison to other people I have discussed my issue with.

We have been using EK for service work on a lot of our projects. Chad is the man! They are conscientious, professional, and priced well. There communication and workmanship is top notch... I would highly recomend them!
