I had Jerry's Plumbing out again to do some more work in our home. Chad was on time, did a professional job, and cleaned up very nicely. I thought the price was very reasonable and came in $20 under the ball-park estimate they had provided on the phone. They will continue to be my first call when I need plumbing work done.
Did a good job on installing a new water heater. Reasonably priced compared to other plumbers I got estimates from.
I am really dissapointed with the experience I encoutered with this company . I scheduled a service on January 25, for them to come and dignose an issue that I'm having at my house. They sent Chad the technician which I paid $90 for the service call just to do the diagnostic, which was a reasonable price because time is money I understand. Chad found out the root cause of the issue I'm having, we went ahead and scheduled a repair date . So I took PTO from my work for them to complete the repair. Jerry's Plumbing sent another tech to perform the job which I was ok with. Unfortunately the tech that came to fix the issue wasn't aware of what was going on, because he wasn't provided enough details of what needed to be repaired, so either way he did a quick diganose and he informed me a different story than what the other tech initially found. I was not confertable with him doing the work nor was he conferable doing it too, so he advised me to wait for the other tech to return to work and have him do the repair, this could of been communicated better rather than finding out the day of the repair. The company needs to understand that customers time is also important and they need to communicate with customers better, because my time is money as well.
Good and reliable work. Have had them out for two different jobs and they always do a good job.
I self-installed a new water heater over the weekend only to end up with low hot water pressure. The issue turned out to be over soldering when installing the union on the cold water inlet--solder had dropped down the pipe and solidified in the nipple causing a obstruction. He identified the location of the issue immediately, by turning off and on the cold water valve and noticing no change in sound, i.e. no change in water pressure. He said with new water heater installs he usually recommends replacing the valve as well, which we had not done. After taking the cold water inlet apart the source of the pressure issue was identified. He replaced the nipple, installed a new valve, and the replaced the pipe between the two. It took about 40 minutes.
