Rod was professional, honest, and straightforward. We had an issue with the prior plumber who installed our water heater from the home warranty installing it incorrectly. Rod identified the issue and was able to work with the manufacturers warranty to replace our parts.He went above and beyond and spoke with our home warranty advising them the plumber they had hired installed the correctly and not to code. While we paid for his services up front, I am convinced that if it were not for his expertise my home warranty would not have even considered reimbursing us as they are now because of him going to bat for us.
To diagnose my water heater i.e. open it, look at the leak and inform me that it needs to be replaced and give me a quote on replacement and to tighten the screw to fix a minor gas leak I was charged $395. Next day I called another plumber who actually replaced the leaking parts and fixed the heater all for just $345!! This is just plain wrong to charge so much for a simple diagnosis. I can understand charging $50 or even $100 but I never imagined I would get charged $300+ to just tell me that I need a new water heater.
This company charged $874.50 for less than an 1 hour of work. When I requested an itemized bill to see what I was being charged for I was sent an invoice that said "Emergency repair $624.50" "Leak Detection $250.00" this was not helpful at all! I feel as if this company robbed us because we needed help on Saturday! If an emergency repair is going to be an auto $625.00 that should be disclosed before the work is completed! I would not recommend this company to anyone and not sure how they obtained the good reviews they have. Not to mention if they are charging me for an emergency why did it take 7 hours to show up!? Can I turn around and charge them for any damage that may be due to them taking so long to arrive? We went with this company because it said veteran owned and thought they would be fair. But this company robbed us!
This company is amazing! Honest people, who work hard and make sure that when they leave, you are completely satisfied. Very knowledgeable and friendly. It is nice to know I have found a company that I can trust for my plumbing needs.
