Ciccarello & Son, Inc.

2nd strike against Ciccarrello & Son. Our relationship started off great several years ago. Their plumber, Joe, is excellent. He was able to resolve my issues without problem. I was so happy with them that I decided to have them remodel a master bathroom. After having Carissa come over to the bathroom and meeting at her office twice about the remodel, she stopped replying to my calls and emails. I recently had a plumbing issue with a shower and attempted to get Joe back. They sent another plumber. Although very professional, he was unable to complete the project at the time due to tiles covering the shower piping. He left after spending approximately 10 minutes at the house, leaving the shower in unusable condition. I ended up hiring a different company that I trusted to repair the plumbing aspect and follow through on their ability to repair the tile. I received a $106 bill in the mail several weeks later from Ciccarello & Son. When I called to ask what the service fee is, I was told it is a flat rate of $100/hour. I will not be using them again.

I was so hoping to get on here after my multiple renovations were complete, to rave about how awesome this company is. Unfortunately, that is not the case. I wanted to replace the granite and sinks in our kitchen and did some research on the type of cabinets we have, to see if they are still being made because we wanted to build a set of cabinets for storage in another area of the home and wanted them to match. We also have 2 bathrooms that need to be renovated (one a complete tear down and rebuild and a decent amount of work in another) and a front porch/stairway that needs to be torn out and rebuilt. Not only did I google our cabinetry and find out that they are a dealer for that company, I also noticed their truck two houses away from me, doing work. I was very excited. I met with Clarissa and she was fantastic. She spent a few hours with me, measuring everything, taking pictures and going over ideas for these projects. When she left, I e-mailed her immediately to tell her how excited I was to get started and looked forward to hearing back from her soon. She told me it would be a week before she could get me a quote and that she wanted her dad (the owner) to come out and look at the front porch because that was his specialty. We have had problems with all types of contractors in the past and I had a really good feeling that we finally found a company that we would be able to use for all of our renovations. Sadly, I never heard back from her. I e-mailed her two more times and called and left a message for her. It's now been two months and I just never heard back from her. I am totally blown away at how unprofessional this was. The worst part of this, was that I was really excited when she left. I had my hopes up for weeks that my dream kitchen was about to become a reality and all of the other projects we wanted to have done, would be done.

I wish to compliment Ciccarello and Son, and Mr Joseph S. in the plumbing department, for excellent service and satisfaction. Mr S. made certain first to understand the problem, diagnose ways in which it might be handled, and then to offer me the options of choice. Thank you.
