Guys are nice and friendly. The work contract we signed was for a sewer replacement from our house to the street. The first time the fellas came out they only went half way. This mistake was sorted out and they came out a second day to complete the other have of our sewer line. Drain-O-Rooter took care of us. Then we had our first snowfall and when the snow was melting a hole opened up in our front yard because they did not compact the soil enough when they filled in the trench. It is not a huge hole. Maybe 2 foot long by 3 foot deep but it raises serious doubts about how well they compacted the rest of the dirt in the trench. They hauled away 2 trailer fulls of dirt and we still have a mound in our front yard. I would think that most of the dirt should/could be compacted in the trench or mounded so that when the ground subsides, there is dirt to fill in the loose spots. I am more than happy to change the stars my review if the owner would contact me to make things right. It is a huge liability to have holes randomly open up in our yard. 5/13/2017 update. Drain o rooter (nice lady on the phone) said they would send their excavation crew out to pack down the soil. No one came out and we were not contacted. Very disappointed. I will be telling people to stay away from this company. I filled the hole by our sidewalk myself with the hose running in the hole and added more than 2 cu yards of material. I fear I have a huge void under my yard. Update 5/30/2018 Well, our fears from 5/13/2017 about the void under are yard have been validated. Before we did any landscaping, we let the yard sit for 1 year to allow natural soil compaction to occur. Guess what? Drain-O-Rooter did such a piss poor job that our new landscaping is subsiding. ($3,000 worth of new landscaping) Yep, even after adding new soil to our yard to account for some subsistence, we are still seeing subsistence where these jerks failed to do their job. It is to the point of hilarious because the subsistence is, you guessed it, approximately the width of their backhoe blade. Don't worry about reporting these people to BBB. They will ignore the BBB and BBB will send you a note 2 months later that the company must be out of business because they haven't responded. I am always willing to talk to the owner of this company and try to arrange a settlement because our $5,000 sewer replacement is turning into $15,000. THIS IS NOT A WAY TO TREAT PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN YOUR COMMUNITY WITH YOU!!!!

I was very disappointed with the service AND price while working with this company. After our first interaction of being overcharged and dealing with a very uncommunicative technician, who wasn't able to answer our questions, we would have never worked with them again. They did, however, credit us the money we were overcharged (almost $100) which we appreciated, but did kind of force us to hire them again to actually "get" that money back. Their prices are too high and customer service is lacking. Since this, we have spoken with other companies that offer the same product for half the price - so, do your research, and clarify costs (they add a "service charge" on top of the actual services themselves). Keep in mind that if they find something wrong, they are hoping you hire them to fix it... another professional we were working with, who experienced both interactions with the technician, told us we shouldn't "pay them a dime," and couldn't believe the prices and seemingly lack of expertise of the tech.

I had to get a sewer repair job done at my home. I called 4 companies that came out to give me a quote. Three were over 10k. Drain O Rooter was the only reasonable one with qulity people that took the time to explain my options. I hope I dont need their service again, but if I do at least I know the do a great job at a fair price. No rip offs here.

I don't do reviews very often, but just had to say that the pro that Drain-o-rooter sent out to my house, Chase, was exactly that...a pro. He did the job and did it well in the middle of a snow storm...A+
