Cal's Plumbing & Heating

Cal did some great work inside our house to two bathrooms and shower etc. Called him back sometime later for septic issue and was not impressed. Overcharged for pump replacement, then after two call backs I had to pull pump myself to remove a stone from the line. Lot of money wasted.

Called Cal's Plumbing and got a response within 20 minutes - took an hour to fix the problem, and the billing was reasonable. Made a promise, delivered, and ensured I was satisfied. Really great expereince.

We've had them come out twice now and have been very pleased with the work and the prices. Would definitely hire them again and would definitely recommend to others.

We contacted Cal to provide us a quote to hook up the gas and plumbing to our new modular home. On the phone he quoted me $650.00 and then a day or two later he came out to discuss the job with my husband and again gave us a verbal quote of $650.00. When the invoice arrived is was in the amount of $1525.00 of which $1105.00 was labour alone. When I questioned the bill I learned that there had been some additional work and problems that arose that could not have been foreseen and I was ok with paying a bit extra for this. Cal also mentioned that he had not advised his employee that this was a quoted job and it would lead me to believe that when the work was being done it could have been done quicker and more efficiently had there been a set labour cost stated up front. There were unnecessary holes drilled into our floors that we had to subsequently fill to prevent cold air and or mice getting through and the explanation we were provided for this was that the plumber was just doing the job the way he thought it would have to be done due to past experience. The hook ups were completed and passed inspection however I would caution anyone dealing with this company to get your quote in writing before moving forward with any work.
