DanMac Plumbing & Drain Service Ltd

If you have a 13 year relationship with DanMac and thought they'd treat old customers with care. Think again! I have used DanMac for 5 properties that I own for over 13 years. They came to fix something in April for $680, only to find out that the same problem persisted and they charged me $400 for a visit to tell me exactly the same information that they had in their notes?! I called to discuss it and the owner refused to adjust anything. I guess my business wasn't worth it to him. Not to worry, I found another plumber that is timely and far more professional with my tenants. They did a fabulous job for my big jobs, ie. replacing the city led pipe and the old pipe connected to the toilet for up to $1000 less than DanMac's quotes. IF you want better service, polite & lower costs? Easy decision. Call anyone else on HomeStars.

These guys are great. Got the job done when they said it would be done, friendly, kept the mess to an absolute minimum. Would definitely recommend.

They advertise as though they are a plumbing service for all kinds of needs regardless of size, but they seem only interested in large-scale construction-type work. I needed a battery-powered back-up sump pump installed, some water level readers, possibly some plumbing for the back-up pump, and some sump pit covers installed - not what I thought to be a real tiny job - but they turned me away and kindly said "can't help you" (translation "don't want to help you") when clearly this is part of what they do. Needless to say, I won't be using them for any future plumbing needs.

My experience was very positive. I was quoted a large unnecessary job by Mr Rooter and was referred to Dan Mac for a 2nd opinion. Over there phone Stuart immediately identified that this was not likely needed and he ended up being right. Their Technician/Plumber - Chris - who was dispatched was an absolute gentleman as well who had lots of industry knowledge which he was willing to share. They even billed less than quoted after the job was done. Very happy with this company, will recommend.
