My problem was quickly understood. The proposed solution, for short and long time, was clearly explained. There was no doubt in my mind that it was technically and financially the best solution. Thank you, Mr Gilles Dionne.
Listen to my request and fix my problem. Price and labour are clearly stated and work carried out in a professional manner. Technician is friendly and helpful. It is a pleasure to deal with Allard & Richard. Thanks again.
Charles Ricard has an exceptional team of young, highly skilled plumbers. We did everything including installing a high efficiency boiler, natural gas lines and appliances, all code compliant rough-in plumbing to delicate fixture installation and finishing work. Louis-Charles, Ian and Ryan are all conscientious, highly capable and polite. We’re very satisfied and we highly recommend their services
They had to come back and fix a job that was not well done and charged me again. There was water leaking from the drain after they had "fixed" it. They charge too much in my opinion. I would not recommend at all!!
I had an okay experience with this company. The plumber they sent was young, but seemed to know what he was doing, but he charged extra for equipment, and it was clear that he was working for someone else (not his own company.) (I assumed that for a $65 travel fee and $100/hour price-tag, some equipment would be included!) But: he worked well. I only had a blocked kitchen sink, so I suggest you make your own decision about this company. If it's a small job, like mine was, I suggest you go with a small plumber, someone who works for himself and is not reviewed on google. This company (despite its family-sounding name) are fairly big and are only going to send you a fairly green plumber anyway for this type of job. Basically, you will be paying top dollar for something your brother in law could do. I wasn't totally convinced that the job needed to take more than 1.5 hours to complete, and I suspected that there may have been some inflation here too. In short: reputable, but expensive. Probably better for bigger jobs, but I'd go elsewhere for common things like blocked sinks etc. Edited: they failed to retighten the bolts on the furnace after they moved it. Blew out our furnace. They denied responsibility even though the technician who fixed it confirmed that the bolts had not been tightened and that the timing (right after the eork) pointed to the plumbers. Don't use these guys!
