Very Excellent service! Highly recommend. After calling several plumbers for a small job, McDaniel was THE ONLY plumber that would even give me a quote and be flexible to get my repair done early in the day. Tim showed up 30 minutes early and was in and out in 30 minutes! I was able to still get to work on time. Well done!

Great Service! Daniel and Eric were both polite and punctual! All my concerns addressed and answered promptly and in a language I understood (basic non technical) I would highly recommend McDaniel Services!

The McDaniel Service out of Lorton is a ripoff. I used them to make repairs from the results of a Home inspection to sell my house. They were responsible for HVAC and plumbing repairs for my house that was on the market. They were supposed to replace a bathtub drain and two sink stoppers and check the AC. The day of closing during the walk-through my Realtor notified me that McDaniel had not completed the work and the AC was not blowing cool air. McDaniel's knew they had my back up against the wall due to the fact that we were closing that day. They ended up charging me $500.00 just for bathtub drain. The max that I should have been charged was $325.00. They first stated $2,500 for a freon leak that I believe never existed, but could not challenge because I was 600 miles away. The charge for the freon came to $900.00. They also charged me $250.00 the first time they came out for the AC and stated it was fine. Two weeks later it had a leak in it and nobody was living there and the AC was off. Do not use this company.

I have used McDaniels plumbing services three times. On two occasions, the service was unsatisfactory, The last time, it was also unprofessional. On the first occasion, I wanted the hot/cold balancing valve replaced on two bathtubs and one shower. I did not want the sheet rock disturbed in order to replace the parts. I asked that the plumber that would do the work provide the estimate. This individual came out and told me the two tubs could be retrofitted but cutting through the sheet rock would be the only way to correct the shower, I agreed to have the work done on the two tubs. When he came to do the work, he found that he had measured incorrectly on one of the tubs and could only do the retrofit on the other tub. The second time, the master bath shower head slowly dripped night and day after a company representative installed a new cartridge. I gave it a month to self correct and then asked for a call back. The commode, in the same latrine, also filled very slowly at night. The tank took about thirty minutes to completely fill although water pressure was normal through the sink faucet in the same room. The plumber that installed the shower cartridge returned. He said he would replace the shower cartridge again because the first one might be defective. He had no idea as to how to fix the commode. When I tried to make suggestions, he told me that if I did not quit smarting off to him, he would walk away. He finally left without doing anything to the commode. The shower head continue to slowly drip. The company sent me a bill for $277 for his service -- seven dollars more than the company that corrected both problems. The next day, I called a competitor. Their service man found corrosion where the shower cartridge valve was seated. He used a wire brush on the seat and replaced the cartridge. I asked him to check the upper rubber washer on the commode Fluid Master. It was worn out. He replaced the entire Fluid Master -- just to be safe. Now, the shower head does not drip and the commode fills normally.
