Thank you so much! I have been a customer for 10+ years. I had a plumbing emergency today and someone came out this morning to take care of it! That is a test of good customer service! I appreciate the dedication to your customers and the great service. Debra Shipman, PhD, RN
On time, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. From small leaks to fixture replacement, I've used Aquarius for years and wouldn't call anyone else.
I called Aquarius plumbing with hopes of fixing my shower converter, for the water would not convert from my bath to the shower head. After leaving my information with his associates he called me back and eventually sent someone out to come check everything out. Upon arriving the gentleman looked at my hot water heater and my shower. From simply this he came to the conclusion that he would have to call Jeff to decide a lengthy course of events in order to fix the issue. No service was conducted, and the only thing that happened were ideas were thrown around to see how to fix my problem to Jeff, not even to me. Just before the gentleman leaves I was charged a $75 “service fee”. The issue here is that no service had occurred at all. I have heard other complaints from friends and coworkers of similar issues with this company and decided to ignore it in hopes of them simply overreacting. I could not have been more wrong. I feel like I got ripped off, and I don’t ever plan on using this company ever again. Edit: A couple of days ago I called a family friend that’s a plumber to drive over and see if the astronomical plans that were made to fix my situation were accurate. He came over today and surprise they weren’t. He spent about fifteen minutes fixing the issue and told me that occasionally there is a buildup in the pipes. He showed me how to fix it whenever it arises. No big plans needed or anything over the top. He charged me no where near what Aquarius would have for their “fix” for my issue.
*Update* After posting the review Jeff the owner contacted us and issued a full refund. I changed the 1 star rating to a 3 star. Not every company would care enough to make it right for just one customer. But it shouldn't of taken a bad review for that to happen. I contacted Aquarius Plumbing and spoke with the owner, Jeff. I explained to Jeff that water was leaking from the base of the toilet and water/sewage mix was backing up in the basement bathroom. Jeff asked if we had a septic which I answered yes and then he asked the last time the tank was pumped which I advised less then 2 years ago. Jeff stated he would send someone out between 11-1 on the day we arranged. A plumber with Aquarius arrived at 12:45 and asked to see the bathroom where the issue was. He walked downstairs and asked where the outflow pipe was. A minute later while outside looking for the pipe he was informed we had a septic which he then informed us we needed to contact Montgomery Sanitation to pump the tank. He then asked if we spoke to the call center when we called because normally when they know from the beginning a septic tank is involved they immediately refer to Montgomery Sanitation and that's when I informed him we spoke with the owner Jeff. The plumber informed us it would be $94.00 for a "service fee". I'm not sure where the breakdown was with the communication but there were NO services preformed (no inspection, no diagnosis, nothing was done!) and a ten minute visit cost us $94.00, for nothing more then a referral that should of happened on the phone. I spoke with several clients who include realtors and contractors who advised they had the same issues with this company. We were advised if Montgomery Sanitation could not fix the problem (which they did and I would highly recommend them) that the $94.00 would be applied to the next visit. But we will not be using Aquarius Plumbing for any future plumbing issues. This is not putting your customer first, I feel we were ripped off.
This has been a bad plumbing week in my house, but David from Aquarius came in and fixed what could be fixed that day, and gave me good advice about the rest of it. The service was terrific and the price was reasonable. I'll be calling them today for another problem that popped up.
