DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY THESE HIGH RATINGS. This is the very worst company I have ever dealt with! They destroy trees and property. They cannot be trusted And they are environmentally irresponsible. They completely destroyed almost 2,000 dollars worth of trees and then wanted to replace them with these tiny little trees. Mike, the owner/manager lied all the way. We contacted him for weeks trying to get this resolved and then he told us that this was all the trees that were available. When the guys brought these tiny little trees out to plant them, I had them call Maryfield, and they confirmed that they had 8 foot trees, which were the size of our original trees. At the same time, I was on the phone with Mike, he consistently lied to me and said they did not have them. Then of course they called him numerous times to let him know they had the trees, and he would not answer the phone. They destroy property

If you want the best service and professionalism you probably have never experienced in dealing with contracting services, you will want to call Home Service Doctors. Starting with the customer service, it's along the lines of Chik-Fil-A, when they answer the phone, they say "How can we make your day better?" Super nice lady I spoke to to set up my appointment, very kind and extremely professional. I had the same experience when speaking with another gentleman. They confirmed my appointment via text, email and a phone call. On the day of the appointment they sent me an email introducing my technician and a step-by-step of what to expect including a professional YouTube video explaining how my heat system works. I was totally impressed with all of this. The technicians arrived right during my one hour window they told me he would arrive, I called to verify his ETA closer to the end of the hour and they had Brent call me right back within seconds with his ETA, he was extremely professional over the phone. There were two technicians that arrived, both of whom were very knowledgeable and Brent asked questions about the history of my heating system not working. He addressed my husband by "Sir", a respectful courtesy you don't hear much anymore. He discovered the previous company that fixed my A/C unit did not turn the gas valve back on. Home Service Doctors charges $69 to come out and inspect the problem, but Brent waived the fee and we did not have to pay a dime. No company does this! He stated that he wanted to show that Home Service Doctors is different. So yes, call them I don't think you will be disappointed.

I had a sum pump installed 11 months ago by Home service doctors. They asked to come by and check it before the warranty expired. After checking the sum pump, the technician then asked to check the water shut-off valves of all the faucets in the house even though these valves have nothing to do with the sum pump. Now one of my faucets has no running hot water. He explained that when he turned the valve off, the rubber must have been broken off, effective blocking off the water. Now they asked that I had to pay $136 to have hot water running again! Do not let them check anything. They might make it way worse and asked you to pay for it. It's a scam. It will be the last time I use this company.

We received plumbing service from Stephen P today. Stephen was the utmost professional and he was able to diagnose our plumbing issues immediately and remedy the problems in a relatively short time. He took the time to explain everything and also recommended a bio-friendly cleaner for our pipes as part of a follow-up maintenance. I appreciated his patient demeanor and his thorough work. My wife was also especially impressed that he left both of the rooms he was working in completely spotless. My hopes would be that HSD would do everything they can to not only retain him but use him as the standard for the rest of your employees. Thank you to your company for providing great service. You have a life-long customer. I would not use anyone else in the DC Metro area for home service needs.

Nick Michel with Home Service Doctors provided excellent customer service today at my home. He identified that the upper and lower heating elements to my water heater needed to be replaced so he quickly did the necessary work that was required. He was very polite, kept me informed on the work being done, showed me how to turn off the tank and electricity if a leak occurs again, and he cleaned up prior to leaving. Job well done!
