We just bought a home and have had it less than two weeks and had to use our Landmark Home Warranty. I am so thankful we got it!! Our air conditioner went out on a Saturday and I figured it wouldn’t be until Monday that they could get anyone to fix it, but they called me early the next morning and had it repaired on Sunday within a few hours. It was a very easy and pleasant experience and I am very impressed and happy with my service!!
We've had Landmark since 2013. We've encountered several claims and the efficiency of the process via the website, text and en route tracking are all fantastic. I highly recommend them - they have key differentiators that stand out from other companies. Recently a friend of mine was visiting our home from out of town and noticed how quickly our claims were being processed. She was very impressed and plans to switch.
Worst. Warrant. Ever. This is seriously the biggest waste of money. The few service requests we tried to make were stone-walled with bogus reasons why they couldn't help us. I was 8 months pregnant in the middle of winter with the heat out and they wouldn't fix it. Same thing happened in the middle of summer with the AC. We ended up having to have Authority Heating and Cooling fix it both times. Authority was great to work with. Put the money you would spend on this warranty into a savings account and use your own money to pay for repairs. You'll come out ahead that way. I would give zero stars if I could.
I’ve had great experience with Landmark Home Warranty. I’ve been a customer of Landmark for over 5 years. All my properties are covered through them. They have great customer service and they always follow up with you to make sure you’re taken care of by the contractor they assigned to your claim. If you’re not happy, let them know and they will work with you. I highly recommend Landmark, they’ve saved me so much money over the years!!
Landmark performed within the realms of the warranty agreement. It seemed they did try hard to work with the contractor to expedite the request knowing that the weekend was coming up and the contractor selected for the job would not be available to complete the work. "Joseph" from the website "chat" was outstanding, really made us feel that he was concerned about our issue, and went above and beyond. Although we wish the out of pocket costs were zero, Customer Service Manager, Cheri, was very professional and did well at explaining the parameters of the agreement.
