I was quoted 5k by Barlow's to fix a leak they just glanced at, as they said that I would probably have to replace my line to the main line. The guys from Norm's came out and took one look in the crawl space and said you already have a new line. The leak cost me $175 to fix. They were quick, friendly, reasonably priced and took the time to answer my questions. I will be using their service again in the future.
I was recently in need of help with some help with plumbing issues in our new house. First, we needed to have a hose bib moved on an interior garage wall due to some construction that had occurred. Norm's actually returned my call unlike some other companies around, set up and appointment and showed up when they said they would. The employees quickly gave me a bid which was consistent with others which I had received, except they were willing to do the work right away instead of rescheduling for weeks out. They got the work done quickly, cleaned up after themselves and spoke with me about some other questions and concerns I had about after treatment. I had some other companies give us bids on water treatment and Norms gave us a range of options for water softeners and whole home filters. I actually liked that they were willing to work with me on what I wanted to do instead of forcing a product they wanted to sell. The price was again super reasonable considering the product and amount of time they spent back out installing the new water softener, moving a brine line, installing an additional whole home filter and again they made sure to clean up after themselves. The employee Leonard was again super considerate of how he treated our home while working and I'd recommend him and Norm's. I definitely plan to contact them in the future whe it comes time to finish our basement, thanks!
Norm’s did all of the plumbing for my new home construction in 2010. Very friendly team, but there were lots of problems. The solar hot water/radiant floor system was not installed properly and died in less than 8 years. Several lines were too small and constrained water pressure. We have problems getting hot water to different parts of the home. We recently had a leak and they came out and misdiagnosed the problem. Said they would come back with a part, but never returned. It cost us a lot of money to get a replacement boiler system to replace their failed system. I think they are fine for small projects, but I can’t recommend them for large/complex projects.
An old brass cartridge got stuck in my posi-temp valve and I wasn't able to remove it. Chad from Norm's was awesome and tried everything he could before recommending replacing the entire valve. High quality repaur was done. Would recommend to anyone looking for a plummer. My consumer rating A+
Fast Professional and highly recommended. Thanks Broc. I will call them 1st every time.
