Great company with fast, reliable, and professional service! I have used JB Plumbing for several plumbing issues. I always know that they will be quick to respond, and honest about my options. They have always done superb work and when they leave, it's as if they were never here (except for working plumbing... and a shiny new fixture on occasion.)! If you're looking for a plumber you can rely on, consider your search over and call JB Plumbing!
We were lucky enough to have gotten to know JB Plumbing when we built our first house in College Station. They did great work, and were very reliable. On top of this, I could sense that they genuinely cared that the job was done right. Since then, over 9 years ago, when we have needed a plumber, we did not hesitate to call JB. They have always been responsive, and done quality work that always exceeded my expectations.
After my husband attempted to be "Mr Fix It" and I had water leaking out of my daughters bathroom sink I called JB Plumbing and was able to get them out within a reasonable time frame. They got to my house within the time frame given and able to get my problem resolved quickly. I highly recommend using them for all of your plumbing needs!!!
JB replaced two water heaters for me. I was pleased at the time with their work. I needed to go in the attic recently and noticed one had developed a small leak at a threaded fitting that they installed. This was about 6 months later. No big deal I thought, mistakes happen and it would be an easy fix. I called them but they refused to fix it. I was perplexed that they would not warrant their work. I thought they would eagerly come fix it but no, said it wasn't their fault. I'm not a plumber but threaded fittings only leak usually because it wasn't tightened enough or not enough pipe dope. They said it was the water.? I have many threaded fittings but only one leaks. The water hasn't affected them. There is no way I would recommend anyone who doesn't guarantee their work, and then makes excuses for it. I will fix it myself, like I said, easy fix. Though I never talked to the owner, I was told this was their decision. I see they have some good reviews, but beware of any business that won't fix their mistakes.
These people are unreliable and do shoddy work. I have had two experiences with them. The first time I called them to repair my mom's stopped up sewer line. I asked them to run a snake down my mom's shower drain to unplug it. However, their technician said he needed to find the clean out. He poked around and around, and never found it. Two hours later, he was about to leave after not finding it. I again asked him to put the snake down the shower drain. He finally agreed and unclogged the line. A week later, I attempted to turn on my mom's watering system. It did not work. Turned out that he had broken irrigation piping and wires through his poking to the tune of over $250. That combined with his charge was over $500. Having not learned my lesson, mom's sewer was plugged again on Sunday, June 12. I called them again (regretfully now). They said they would be right out. I called three hours later and they again said they would be out. Evening came and they were still not out to work on my mom's stopped up sewer line. She's 92 and is spending the night with no toilet. Shame on them for being liars, incompetent, and unreliable.
