Helped me out in an emergency. Very responsive, pleasant and got the job done quickly. Reasonably priced, as well.
Until recently in my 7 years in the area I received excellent service from Chris. However, for the last two jobs I've called him for the work has been unsatisfactory. On the first job I had to call him back twice for incomplete work resulting in leaks. The second job, installing a brand new Bosch dishwasher, was botched, so that not only did the appliance not drain on its very first run, but its efforts to do so wore out the pump motor which now has to be replaced. And as it turns out, had Chris reconnected the original dishwasher properly after some cabinetry work the likelihood is I wouldn't have had to purchase a new dishwasher at all, as the problem with the old dishwasher that manifested only after the re-install was the same as with the new one--not draining. When I asked for a refund of the install fee from Chris, no response.
After waiting 6 weeks for Chris at Watertight to do the 10th annual servicing of my boiler, I finally got a date for the service. Then Chris never showed up! I phoned him, got voicemail and left a message. He has never replied to that message or gotten back to me at all. After being a customer of Watertight for 10 years, I am just dumbfounded at this treatment. It was Chris who installed my current boiler, a very high end and expensive German make which is probably overkill for my small house but I trusted Chris’s recommendation. It is so sophisticated that it is difficult to find someone who can service it, and now Chris apparently has decided not to bother servicing the boiler that he himself installed. This is no way to treat a customer of 10 years standing, one who always paid on the spot for any work done. I have always found Chris a bit difficult to work with, but this behavior just takes the cake! I wouldn’t recommend Chris unless this is the way you like to be treated as a customer. Beware of someone who shows no loyalty to his customers.
We have not had a good experience at all with this plumber and look forward to finding a more peaceful one soon. Two months waiting, after being the one to install new shower unit, knowing there is a blockage for hot water: we have suffered two months cold showers and told to wait now, move on and find a new plumber since he is maxed out!
We recently had Watertight Plumbing & Heating replace some aging equipment at our home. Chris and his team arrived exactly on time, worked together on the equipment, pipes and wiring and completed the job in half the time we had expected. Their work was done quickly, professionally and they left the space cleaner than they found it. We also have a seven-year warranty on the new equipment and a five-year warranty on all the other materials and workmanship for some real peace of mind.
