Joe Roy & Sons Plumbing

This is a story about a plumbing company that committed to install a shower stall and apparently reneged on their commitment without informing the customer. In March, 2018 we approached Joe Roy and Sons Plumbing and Heating and ask if they would install a shower stall in our basement. After visiting our home Joy Roy and Sons agreed the shower stall could be installed and then posted a quote to us which we accepted. During the following two months Joe Roy and Sons indicated that we were still on their agenda. However, whenever we asked where we were on their schedule it was always "I'm very busy." By June phone calls to Joe Roy were not returned. In July I visited their office and informed the secretary to learn where we were on their schedule and would they call us. We are now in mid August and have not heard from Joe Roy and Sons Plumbing. We finally concluded that Joe Roy and Sons abandoned us and had no intention of performing the installation quoted to us in March, 2018. We ultimately began a search for a replacement plumber and within two weeks construction of the shower stall commenced. Joe Roy and Sons exhibited a very poor display of professional and ethical courtesy by not informing us that they apparently decided to renege on their commitment outlined in their quote to us.
