I've been going to this location for a decade. This Home Depot is a serviceable location very close to home, with a decent store layout, where it's easy to find things, with sensible categorizes, and usually they carry what I'm looking for at a reasonable price. While, I've never been astounded by the associates, I've never been steered wrong. If they don't know the answer they're honest and don't try to make stuff up and, yes, they will point you to a different department or grab another associate. I've never had to speak to more than two associates to find what I need (usually due to my oversight or ignorance). Typically I have only needed to speak to one associate to get what I need (item or information). And yes, when stocking large items they do need to shut down lanes. I've seen them restock some pretty big items and never seen more than one aisle shutdown at a time. This is true of any store I've been to that has to restock while open for business, not just Home Depot. Such complaints are unwarranted as the aisle is closed so no customers accidentally get squished. Trust me. Waiting is far less painful than a forklift to the kidney. In short: This location is okay. Just be reasonable in your expectations. Don't expect miracle workers or omniscient beings for associates and you won't be disappointed. P.S. I've seen a lot of negative reviews as of late, some getting quite petty such as criticizing the hair style of the associates. Such items as hair styles are irrelevant and say more about the reviewer than the location reviewed. And remember when ordering replacement parts for defective products, a manufacturer issue, get as many details as you can about what you're actually receiving. (e.g. Is it a whole window including sash? just the pane? what skills are needed to properly replace the defective part?) The more you know, the easier it is to properly handle the replacement/return as well as negotiate discounted or free services, UP FRONT. It's always a pisser on the back end, no matter who you're dealing with, if you meet with an unexpected result.
Every time I go to this store I am always impressed with the level of customer service. On October 3, 2013 I had the pleasure of working with Saad Boktor and Tim Bugbee where they went above and beyond to assist me with re-fitting a metal sculpture. I have installed the sculpture in my yard after they designed a new pole and it is perfect. Thank you so much. I sincerely appreciate the extra attention to customer service.
