Controlled Air

Every year I receive this nice little mailer to remind me, that is time for my annual A/C Maintenance. It also states that the annual maintenance is a requirement to keep my warranty in place. So for the past three years I have been scheduling these annual routines services through Controlled Air to9 maintain my warranty. Unfortunately this year, it just so happened that one of the compressors on my A/C unit wouldn't fire due to a bad circuit board. The service tech stated that it was $750.00 to replace this circuit board. I explained to him that this unit is only 6 years old and that it should be covered under the manufactures warranty. He then stated that because they were not the original installers of the A/C unit that they did not cover any warranty work. I kindly reminded him of the little mailer I receive each year and the response I received was, "Well we send that to all of our customers regardless if it's covered under warranty or not." I told him that this was false advertisement and that you cannot claim to provide warranty under these conditions and then deny the warranty. His response was "I am just the service tech." I then contacted the main office, where the lady on the phone stated the same thing. This company is absolutely worthless and is a fraud. I would highly suggest going with a reputable company that stays true to their word and marketing strategies.

Shane did a really good job replacing our heater. He also gave me tips and advice that can help extend the life of the heater. He's very knowledgeable. Great service experience!

My ac wasn't working for almost a week so I called and the tech man came in to check and explained to the best of my knowledge what the issue was. He then fixed the problem and I'd say he did an excellent job.

We had reps from multiple companies come in to quote and there was no question after Controlled Air came through. We felt overall lied to by the other reps and were very happy to go through Controlled Air. The pricing was fair. Everyone we worked with were friendly. They just kept an honest feel to the process after some shady encounters.
