Duff Plumbing

I called Duff 3 times in three days and they haven’t returned my messages. Takes less than a minute to call and tell me they aren’t interested or don’t have time.

I had a water heater installed and was satisfied with the price and installation but when the inspector arrived to check out my new furnace he informed me that the water heater was installed WITHOUT a permit. He also said that my insurance wouldn't have to fully cover any damage involving the water heater if a permit hadn't been taken out. I had to pay 80 bucks for the permit. Not being told by Duff that I needed a permit and that he hadn't taken one out was very unprofessional and could have cost me significantly.I strongly suggest if you've had work done with this company that you check that a permit was taken out if one was required. It could save you from future insurance problems if something bad happens.

Installed a new tub and shower surround a couple yrs ago and came within 24 hrs of contact to fix an issue that occurred recently. Very professional and time conscious. Helped with billing matters as well!!

In April, our hot water heater tank cracked and started leaking in a nice steady river through our basement. After calling the most advertised plumbing company in Muskegon and receiving no specific pricing information or useful help, I called Brian. I called him at 11:00am, he was at our house by 2:00 and left by 4:00. His price was easily half of what the other business' website said, and included removing the old heater, replacing it, and the labor costs all in one (no add-ons or fees). He and his brother were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. He also looked at some additional plumbing issues free of charge and provided a price quote for me on the spot. I would highly recommend Duff Plumbing, it's great to support a local business, especially when they are 100% worth it.
