Only gave one star because it was the least you can give. We had a plugged toilet. Called on Saturday, didn't call back until Monday. Couldn't come out till Wednesday. We told him before 2:30 and he called at 3:15 to come out. Rescheduled for Friday and he forgot. Finally came out Saturday (one week after initial phone call) and scratched the porcelain off the inside of our toilet bowl. Plus he did not take charge card although he advertises that he does. What about this is same day or quality service?
THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM THEY LIKE TO USE SCARE TACTICS TO GET PEOPLE TO SPEND AN OBSENE AMOUNT OF MONEY. IF I COULD RATE THEM A negative 10 I stars I would DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING. JUST TALKING TO THE ONWER ON THE PHONE HE NEW WHAT MY PROBLEM WAS AND QUOTED A PRICE OF $6000.00 to $7000.00. He came to my house and tried to convince me the my basement walls where full of water and that he needed to put a new drainage system in. In the meantime I call another plumber and he came to my house and used a power drain snake and 10 minutes later the water was once again flowing into my sump hole. By the way that’s not my real name I heard on bad reviews he likes to retaliate on those people with damage to their house or cars. That’s just what I heard
They put my grandmother's septic field/plumbing incorrectly and we had to have someone else come redo the whole thing. During this process, we found out that not only had they done the job wrong, but they didn't even have the correct permits for the work they did in the yard! When confronted, they denied even working on her yard and said she was going senile. Way to try taking advantage of an elderly woman. Disgusting.
With a residence and a cottage in Sanilac County, one with its original 1940s plumbing and one with its original 1950s plumbing, Same Day Plumbing has bailed us out more times than I can even enumerate in the past 8 years. Time-after-time, Mark and his teams have come to the rescue, solving mystery geysers, ceiling leaks, water-based heating system snafus , rushing broken water pipes in crawl spaces, sump pump issues, you name it, it's happened to us. They also do the normal stuff, they've installed dishwashers for us, replaced ancient commodes , etc. The head of the company is personable and he will explain every nuance of what needs to be done, is being done, or will be done in a way that you will learn more about plumbing than you ever wanted to know in your entire life, which is a good thing. The company owns all its own big equipment, so if you need broken pipes in your lawn dug up, which has happened to us more than once, they're right there with the backhoe. Mark's wife even helped coordinate decorating choices when I wasn't available and we had a bathroom that needed serious help after an old leaking floor pipe collapsed the ceiling below. We would recommend Same Day Plumbing to anyone, big job or small, and we have.
Rude, extremely untrustworthy and loves to bash others businesses. How do people like this stay in business????
