Larry and Terry were the dynamic duo! Fast, professional and courteous they quickly assessed the needed repairs and costs and then executed the multiple tasks. Everything was done quickly and efficiently. Would be glad to have these folks back!!!
Installed a tankless gas hot water heater (changing from electric 50 gallon tank system). The installation was exactly as described. The team did excellent work and cleaned up the site when finished. I have been very impressed with the professionalism exhibited by everyone at Carter's My Plumber. I would recommend this company without any hesitation.
In early Dec., Carter's responded to an emergency at my home. Since they were on site, I asked if they could snake a slow (not stopped up) kitchen drain. They charged me $200!!! A few days later, the drain backed up just as I left town for the winter. I called Carter's from out of state and asked if they would extend me the courtesy of re-cleaning the drain when I returned to town in the spring. They flatly refused, saying they only guarantee their work for 30 days. No exceptions. A reputable company would recognize this unusual circumstance and would stand behind their work, honoring their guarantee as a good will gesture. Not Carter's. They will NEVER be my plumber again. UPDATE - upgrading to 3 stars from only one star. After my negative review, Carter’s called and came back out at no charge. Since I had just plunged a backed up kitchen sink - again - (I haven’t put anything down the disposal in years), the drain was running freely and they said they couldn’t do anything. They returned the following week with a video camera and televised the line, not finding a reason for my ongoing problem. They suggested I replace the top of the air gap valve under the sink, just in case that was the problem. I got a new part at Home Depot. Thus far, I haven’t had a recurrence, but I still don’t use my disposal. Keeping fingers crossed that my drain continues to flow freely.
Paul, the tech that came to the house was very thorough in his search for my low water pressure problem. He explained all of my options after he adjusted the pressure. Didn’t try to sell me anything but you can bet Carter will get all of my plumbing needs. Good work and a reasonable price
