Central Heating, Plumbing, and Air - fantastic team to work with for your heating/air conditioning system needs! I was told by "another Pekin AC/heating company" that my fan motor failed, so the other company ordered part, came to install, then told me the compressor on the central air was bad also. So, I called 3 other places for estimates. Central came next day (even came to diagnose after hours) during an extreme heat wave, discovered only the fan motor failed...NOTHING wrong with compressor! Central Heating/Air repaired with fan motor/older part from the Peoria warehouse the very next morning. Central had it running for me temporarily, and didn't even charge me! It was 100+F real feel outside all week! So, after 3 estimates, I chose CENTRAL to do the install on a whole new system. Seems the other company either was incompetent or wanted to pressure me to buy a new system without estimates. Reported other company to BBB. Great family and team! They know what they're doing.

My furnace wasn’t working properly three days ago and it’s supposed to be -20F with -40F wind chills this week, in fact it is as I’m writing this review. Bill and Trent came and inspected my 20 yr old furnace 2 days ago, got it up and running for the night and then Trent and Daryl replaced my furnace yesterday and did an outstanding job. Since moving to the Peoria area, Central Heating, Air, & Plumbing have done numerous jobs on my house and each time I’m amazed with the high quality work; not to mention, very reasonable and fair cost. If you need HVAC or Plumbing work and you’re near the Peoria/Pekin or surrounding metropolitan area, I’d always recommend calling Central Heating, Air, & Plumbing for the highest quality work and best price.

We had been having concerns our water heater was venting carbon monoxide into our basement. On Aug. 27, 2018 I called Central Heating & Air at approx. 9:00 and was told someone would be there before lunch. At about 10:30 Bill and Trent arrived and asked what was going on. They attentively listened to my concerns and went to work to diagnose the problem, confirming it was leaking carbon monoxide and then clearly explained the options to fix it. They then also went on the roof and found further issues with the vent pipe and cap. It is now venting properly. We are very pleased with their work and fully explaining the problem and clearly answering my questions. Their fee seemed fair and reasonable. We would definitely recommend Central Heating and Air to our friends and family. We are also changing our fall and spring preventive maintenance plan to Central Heating since our previous company had a 28% increase over a year's time.

Our air conditioning did not turn on this year. The unit was well past its life expectancy and so was our furnace, so we decided to just replace both. Bill gave a very reasonable bid which included a ten year warranty. His team was able to complete the a/c installation in a day, and came back the next day to complete furnace installation. They did a great job and left the space very clean. Bill called to follow up and see how we liked it and let me know we could call anytime if we ever had problems. Great service all around. I would definitely recommend.
