Friendly Plumbing

I purchased an APEC Osmosis Drinking Water Filter and Michael from Friendly Plumbing had installed for us. I just took few photos along the way as I was so impressed with his knowledge and the technique he use it. Michael was at our place at 9:00AM and everything was set up and working by 10:00AM. The whole process went very smooth, he is very organized and old school type. We are very happy with Friendly Plumbing service.

I tried Friendly for several projects, all of the result has been treated very well. Competitive price and professional performance. One time the 50 gallon replacement just spent 2 hrs from in and out. If you call and the line is busy, please be patient, Eugenia will call you back with the same line you called once she is free. Great service and team works.

They are honest honorable and trustworthy. I called another very well-known company and was sadly disappointed with their service. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for any plumbing services. Aside from their expertise, their disposition is one of kindness,friendliness like their name and positive. He was able to do a plumbing job that others said would be impossible. I am eternally grateful because everyone can agree that a toilet it's something one prefers not to live without.

I had an appointment scheduled a week prior to have Friendly plumbing come out and replace my RO systems filters, fix some leaky faucets, and do some additional plumbing work in my house. I took time off of work for the appointment. Instead, I received a text (not even a call mind you) from Friendly plumbing the morning of, 1hr prior to the appointment, that read and I quote "We are not able to come do job. We not feel comfortable to change filter for RO system". OK that fine, so what about the other plumbing work? Where was the call the night before explaining the situation? You don't feel comfortable to change a RO filter, then fine, don't do it. I guess this company feels that it's perfectly fine and acceptable to just text someone the morning of and let them know they will not be coming to do a job. Well guess what Friendly Plumbing maybe you should change your name to UNFriendly plumbing business that's not acceptable business practice, at least not here in America! Don't just blow somebody off. Don't waste their time! I see everyone posting all these great reviews of this company. Well, I would direct you to read MT's recent review from Yelp where he writes "I heard they do great work when they arrive, but also heard they like to pick their jobs. I understand your busy, but just tell me so." I guess the work I needed done was not enough for them, so instead of doing the right thing and calling me and letting them know they would not be able to do the job, they just blew me off, and cost me money because I had to take time off of work. I hope you read this review and see what my experience has been with this company and consider looking for another plumbing service. There are some much better ones in the McHenry area! Good Luck!

Waited over 2 weeks for a quote - never received. Called numerous time only to hear back - sorry we are working on it and we are busy. Sorry just forget it! I even gave them the option to say they didn’t want to do the job - they just ignored! How rude - and still in business?? How?? Never use them!
