The cost to replace it, along with the limited longevity of the new system, does not justify as long as the system is in good working order. They have made some suggestions that could bring it fully to code, at minimal cost, though stated the system is fine, and if maintained could last another 50-60 years. The inspection report lost us an 85k sale of a house as the buyers refused to look at the new report from an inspector with more knowledge on older systems.
