I noticed my water heater leaking a few days before a big snowstorm. I got a few estimates and decided to go with R Harris Plumbing. They weren't very friendly or polite over the phone but they came recommended so I hired them and they seemed to do a professional job. However, about a day after installation it became clear the water was not heating properly. I called them and the person on the phone told me they'd be out to look at it 3 days later at a certain time. They missed the scheduled time, arrived about 5 hours later. I must say I was not completely surprised. The few interactions I had with them on the phone left me suspect if they would show up. They came across as being not really interested, but we'll do you a favor and come out and look at the problem type attitude. When they finally showed up they wanted $880 to reinstall another hot water heater under warranty. No thanks. Was forced to call another contractor. Call someone else and save yourself a big headache. People are rude and arrogant. Much better out there to deal with.
This place stinks. We need something done in our downstairs bathroom. Called these guys up ok Tuesday and they didn't respond till Wednesday around 11:00, gee thanks!!! So we agreed on a time for them to come and check it out. We agreed on Thursday from 2-4 and well they never showed up. We thought we had the wrong time or maybe they did... Left them a bunch of messages and not one return. I will definitely not use these people in the future. Ended up finding someone else and thank goodness we did! Wow! Just wow!
Horrible. Sloppy work and completely unresponsive after the fact. Go elsewhere.
I contracted R. Harris to install my gas range. They had to tap in to my existing gas furnace line and install a feed for the stove. I was very impressed at how fast they were and the attention to their work detail was beyond what I was used to. Not that is will happen every time they came in a bit under the quote and my budget. I plan on using R. Harris for my furnace issues too. TOP NOTCH!
