Last summer I moved into a house that was built in 1913. I scheduled a company to come out and do a free plumbing inspection. They ended up quoting me over $7,000 to replace the old metal water lines and drains. I called 3 more companies to get quotes. Everyone of them had about the same quote. All of these companies were at the top of the google search. In an attempt to find something less expensive I called one last company, Mountainwest Home Services, and this is when I met Mike the Plumber. He opened an access panel and showed me that the drains had already been replaced, and his quote was half the others quoted. Naturally, I put this expenditure off and about a month later had trouble with my washing machine, something Mike had also brought to my attention. This house had the washer dryer installed on the side of the stairs down to the basement and the draining for the washer was not up to code. So the washing machine stopped working. I called a repair man and he told me it was about the plumbing. Naturally I called Mike....the one who was smart enough...or HONEST ENOUGH to show me the drain pipes had already been replaced. The only solution was to move the washer.This house is so small there weren't many options. But this clever plumber figured it out and it has all been great. He is very knowledgable, dependable and HONEST. What else can you ask for???
