City Wide Water Heater Service

I would not recommend them. They installed my tank quickly and did a neat and clean install. I think the price was high $2400 for a basic tank and chimney liner (seems high to me). 2 weeks later the heater failed? They came out and within 3 mins said I had a back draft in the chimney blowing the pilot out, he figures this by using his cigarette lighter? said I needed to put in an electric tank in or put in a fresh air vent?!?! $$$. Evan (tech) was rude and very disrespectful. I had a different company come out for a second opinion this tech is a proper smoke test and determined there is no backdraft and it was determined the gas valve had a error code on it saying low flame single. When I phoned city wide they patched me through to the tech (Evan) and again he was rude when I told him the situation he even had the nerve to hang up on me! I called back and talked to Joe the service manager (very nice man) and he and Evan came down and confirmed the other techs findings and changed the part and I have had no problems since then. I can’t imagine where I would be if I didn’t get a second opinion (which cost me $$$)

We just had our hot water tank replaced by City Wide. This is the second time we have used them. First time was back in 2006. They were great back then and they are GREAT today!! Jordan was the technician that came out. He was prompt, professional, provided excellent information, and we would most definitely use them again. Excellent Service!!

I discovered that our water heater was leaking at 9 PM. City Wide was there within an hour and done within two. Both the dispatch on the phone and the tech who arrived were knowledgeable, professional, helpful and courteous. Job was done right, and quick too. The cost was reasonable, considering how fast service responded, but you could probably find cheaper elsewhere if you can afford to go a few days without hot water.

I called at 10 pm on Saturday and got appointment for Sunday evening. They called me 30 minutes before technician arrival. Friendly and professional service. Most definitely this is the company to call if you have problem with water heater.

Our water heater wasn't working and we called them late at night after 11:00pm on Monday, February 22rd, right before they were about to close. The woman who picked up gave us really helpful advice about replacing the tank, and also gave us methods to try at home to fix the issue. She was extremely nice and patient, and we were able to fix our issue right then according to the directions she gave us, saving us from having to get a repairman. We would for sure recommend their services to a friend, and we would definitely go to this company if we have trouble again.
