I needed repairs done to my soffit's. Not a hard job, patch and paint, 2 days labor at most. This job started back in October of 2018, it is now April of 2019 and they still have not finished the work. To add insult to injury, they sent me a final invoice for the job they haven't finished. If you are looking for slow, mediocre and incomplete these are the guys you want. I am unimpressed to say the least. I am wondering if they will, in fact, ever finish the work. Needless to say I would never hire them again.

Company is great! I had a ceiling fan replaced which was a difficult job because I have a vaulted ceiling. I had other companies that said it could not be done. They did an absolutely beautiful job and the installers were very nice and professional. If I need anything else done around the house they will be the first people I call!

This is sick. Today they sent a marketing email that included this text: "...maybe to make men feel so depressed and ashamed of themselves they might consider using more of Gillette's razor blades on more parts of their body, especially their throats or wrists." Seriously? This isn't even funny, it's not even witty social commentary from any perspective, no matter your opinion about some ad. A "joke" about suicide? When veteran suicide is skyrocketing, and the suicide rate in the United States has risen by 25% over the past two decades? Sick. Truly sick. I never post negative reviews, but this is foul and people should know.

If I can deter just one person from using this company for any project they may have, it will be worth it. This company is incompetent and very unprofessional. I needed to have a shelf re-hung in an upstairs closet. This shelf had been hanging for over 12 years before it fell and just needed to be reinforced so it wouldn't happen again. I called Fix St. Louis and explained to them what I needed to have done and I was told, no problem. I waited 3 weeks till someone could finally come out and re- hang the shelf. Handyman came in (not going to mention his name) and explained he had an idea to help reinforce the new shelf, so I figured he knew what he was doing, boy was I wrong! He used more of my tools then his own and had to run to Home Depot twice to get materials. He Finished hanging the shelf and left and I hung ( not exaggerating) two shirts on the shelf and it fell right out of the wall! I called Fix St Louis back immediately, left a message and no one called me back for 2 days. I actually had to act like a new customer for someone to return my calls. No apology, no compensation, just we'll send someone else out next week. So I waited again. Week rolled around and the new handyman was 2 hours late for the appointment. Found out it was the office's fault (Bridget), not the second handyman. This guy is wonderful his name is John and he was accompanied by another guy named Chris, who was also great! Shelf was re-hung and looks and functions great till this day. Please understand this is cause of the wonderful work of two excellent craftsmen, has nothing to do with incompetent Fix St. Louis. About one week later here comes the final bill from this company ( had no problem sending that on time). I had already paid half of the bill before work started so I owed the second half. I called Fix St. Louis and asked them if because of all the problems I had with them if they were willing to work with me on adjusting the total of the second half of the bill and Bridget told me she wouldn't do a thing to help and blamed the experience on me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!!!!
