This company came promptly and diagnosed the boiler. The man said that it needed a new pressure relief valve since it was dripping even at running pressure. He also found that the expansion vessel had lost pressure and was able to re pressurize the system. When they called to fit the pressure relief valve they also wanted to replace the expansion vessel, to which I said that it was OK if the vessel did not have any pressure when the engineer came. This they would not accept and refused to repair the boiler.
