This company came out same day and resolved our boiler issue swiftly. Had other boiler engineers out previously and persistently misdiagnosed the fault. This was the only company to finally find the problem. Thank you

We called Property Heating Solutions to have a look at our commercial extractor as it wasn’t working as well as it used to. We were advised that the first hour cost £185 + VAT, and that most problems were diagnosed within the first hour. When the engineer came, did some electrical checks, said everything seemed fine, the fans might just be tired. At that point he could have told us that it would be better to just change the fan at a cost of roughly £1000 but decided he would take the whole unit off, which took him 5 hours to take off and put back on again. That alone cost us £1110 including VAT! I called and spoke to the person who does the bookings over the phone and explained to him that it was ridiculous that the assessment cost us more than replacing the fan, but he said some jobs take longer than others, and proceeded to ask us how we would you like to pay. The engineer also said that he was instructed not to leave the property until we hadn't paid. Ridiculous. We felt compelled to pay as we had to continue with service etc. It was the obvious lack of experience of the engineer and his poor judgment as well as the complete unprofessional approach of the person on the phone and his complete disregard of the fact that we had just spent a £1110 pounds literally to be told that it would have been cheaper for us to replace the fan. We will be looking to filing a complaint with Trading Standards. Do not recommend at all.
