February 2019: Very happy with the plumbing work carried out by Billy from Taylormade at our house. He arrived on time, and was a polite and friendly young man. He obviously knew what he was doing, and worked steadily and efficiently, and everything was working fine by the end of his visit.

I called this plumber to our (rental) home to assess a problem with the flush in our toilet. Completely naive, we know nothing about plumbing but we were told that it was major problem, required 4-5 hrs work and perhaps a new toilet would be needed. I asked for a quote for this and was told approx £700. To the unknown eye, fair enough for a toilet replacement and fitting? We thought that must be average! Our land lady then brought round an independent plumber and the problem was fixed on the spot using a £15 piece...disgusted that this is the kind of service people are receiving and I wonder how many people have been totally ripped off by them. We almost were.
