Had an annual boiler service, was having absolutely no problems with the boiler. Told a few parts needed replacing which was fair enough. The engineer came back 4 days later and replaced the parts. Since then boiler pressure keeps dropping to zero so I'm unable to have a hot shower or use any hot water. Rang them this morning at 9am and booked a same day call out. Was told I would get a phonecall when the engineer was on the way. By 2.30pm I was a little concerned so gave them a call and was assured the engineer would be with me late afternoon/evening. Fast forward to 8pm and I've now been waiting in the house on the hottest day of the year so far for the engineer. Rang the company who's offices close at 5pm so no joy there. Rang our energy supplier who states that engineers only work until 6pm so I can assume that I've completely wasted my day and have yet another freezing cold shower to look forward to this morning. Wish I hadn't bothered with the service in the first place as I would have both enjoyed my day off and had a nice hot shower.
Had to use this company as have an insurance with Domestic and General for the Boiler. They have left my 77 year old frail mother without hot water and heating for over 2 weeks. The engineer promised to come back today but didn't. I phoned the office at 5 to be told he was definitely coming. At 6 the engineer called her to say he would be there tomorrow between 9/10. I have complained to Domestic and General but don't hold out any hope of a better service. My advice would be Do Not Use this outfit. Terrible service. I gave one star as they did come out on the day they were called, which was 22nd of July.
Been a nightmare!!! Have service policy with Scottish Power who use Domestic and General, who use these.... I had to chase them for initial appointment of a service, then they couldn't fulfil time promise, rescheduled, service complete but no paperwork! Boiler then came on as timed but made awful noise and cut out. Called to explain and get fixed, promised immediate return following afternoon for nobody to turn up. Out of hours number is voicemail, finally call back but stuck in traffic and wouldn't be there until very late! Still waiting for them to fix the problem they have created! At no point has there been an apology!!!!
I have had Johnston scotia out to repair my boiler on several occasions and I would like to say how GREAT BEN is. He is friendly, polite and always delivers a fantastic service. He is a credit to such a reliable company. On a whole the company is great, from the office staff-engineers. Thank you very much BEN @ scotia.
I called Johnston Scotia office spoke to a polite gentleman who quickly got me booked in for later that day for a plumber (Gregor) to attend my property and fix my toilet, Which was done within 20 minutes of him being in my property - Brilliant Service Thanks you so much Everyone at Scotia
