Company in liquidation, now trading as Cannon Commercial Services. Be VERY careful if you pay them online.
This is my second encounter with Cannon Services. They came to fit a radiator. Absolute first class job. I was so impressed that I cancelled my boiler service contract with British Gas and moved to Cannon. Today was the first boiler annual service. I was phoned 15 minutes before the agreed time to announce they were on their way. Arrived bang on time. Two very polite young men introduced themselves and started the job. Very quick and efficient. So refreshing to have a 'caring' company in this day and age!
Earlier in the year I needed a boiler change and after speaking to a variety of different companies, I decided to go for Cannon Services. Cannon Services offered a really good service from start to finish. Their engineer Matt who installed the system was really polite and knowledgeable and in addition a second engineer called Dylan visited once the system was up and running to make sure that everything was running fine. To be honest, spending money on a boiler was not my ideal way of spending money but I got excellent value for money which was most important!!
DO NOT USE THIS FALSIFIED COMPANY! Firstly notice all other reviews are about fitting a new boiler and thats all this company wants to do. Had a guy come round stinking of cigarettes, very impolite and non interactive guy, offered him a cup of tea tried to be polite but returned with very cold responses. Diagnosed the problem in 30 minutes and straight away mentioned that if he cannot fit a new flu (which you can) then the entire boiler needs replacing... think about that for a minute. On top of this he told me that one of "the girls" from the office would call to take my payment that day for his hours service (£90 plus VAT), with a price for the flu and valve. He checked there and then that the valve was around a fiver and flu 40 pounds with roughly an hour and a half to fit... Guess what, no call that day. Three days later we get a letter through the door with a bill for the initial hour labour plus just shy of £300 for the proposed work to fix our boiler. I called and spoke to a woman who worked there, long story short I refused to pay the hour because they did not call and left us hanging for three days and she threatened me with a small claims court, poor tactics to avoid the fact that they are indeed money grabbing liars. AVOID AVOID AVOID, THE IMAGE AND WORDING OF THESE PEOPLE IS A FACADE.
I manage a day nursery in Kent and we returned after Christmas to find we were without heating in a very cold January. We received an excellent service from Cannon services, they responded very promptly and the engineers were very professional.
