Gentleman Heating

It was an emergency - a genuinely polite & professional plumber was with us within an hour. The problem turned out to be easy to fix. Instead of pretending it was trickier than it was and charging more, he showed us what had happened and what he'd done and charged us just the basic call-out fee. Five stars, definitely/

I have had Gentleman Plumbers call twice in recent months, once to service my boiler and another time for a serious leak. Not only did Steve service the boiler, he explained everything clearly, he checked the gas meter to make sure there were no leaks and made sure I knew where to turn off the gas in an emergency, he also got me to check where the main water supply could be turned off and that the tap would turn ok. This was very useful after I found water pouring out from somewhere inside the boiler, hence the second visit. Steve and Daniel visited on this occasion, they rang to say they’d be a bit later than stated, they explained what the problem was, again they were both very friendly and polite, they were also very well dressed. I have and will continue to recommend them wholeheartedly.

These guys came out to me last night (via a filter system). When they arrived, they were quick to diagnose the problem and then dealt with it in a quick and efficient manner. They were friendly and polite and I was very happy with the work carried out. If you need anything, whether it be an emergency call out (which they do literally 24/7) or an installation, I would have no problem in recommending them. I have been looking for a new plumber recently for other jobs and these guys are going to be it - sorry Steve and Daniel!

A creeping water stain on the kitchen ceiling necessitated a 24/7 emergency call to Stephen of the Gentleman Heating company. He arrived promptly in the late evening and quickly diagnosed a leaking hot water cylinder. Temporary measures were put in place to alleviate the problem. All through the Festive Season, when plumbers’ merchants were closed, Stephen kept in touch with reassuring assistance until a new cylinder could be purchased and installed. The service and after-care communication was exemplary and we would recommend Stephen and the Gentleman Heating company to anyone in plumbing distress. C

Small job needed at our place but done quickly and really well. Tidy and polite. Great to find a local plumber we can trust and will use again.
