Sharp & Howse Ltd

I used Sharp and Howse services for about 7 years and was pleased with the service until about last spring. When I called out for a plumber in spring time, I was charged half an hour rate for him to drive to my house! When I called for annual boiler inspection this autumn, I was told that there would be an extra charge if the engineer had to bleed the radiators which was never the case in the previous seven years when they were checking my heating system so I went to another company that did not charge for this. Today I called to ask for a quote for some work on my heating system just to be informed that I would be charged for this although they advertise "no obligation, free quote" on their website (apparently this only applies for boiler replacements!). It is a pity I have to change my gas engineers after so many years but they have become greedy and charge for things that most other providers do not charge for. Luckily, there are many service providers in Oxford who were happy to provide a free quote and take on the work.
