PG Bones

They were asked to do a simple boiler service on a house I was due to purchase. They told me I didn't need to be there, that they can pick up the keys from the estate agent and return them when the work was done. After apparently visiting the property they informed me that the boiler wasn't working and needed a new PCB at a cost of £237.18 + VAT + fitting. I was sceptical as the boiler always worked no problem on my visits to the property. PG Bones told me it must be an intermittent fault and charged me £54 for the call out. Still not convinced, I arranged for a different plumber to carry out the service and check whether the boiler worked OK. And guess what - it worked fine, fired up with no issues. Service was carried out and no problems flagged up. Nothing was wrong with the PCB. It's been nearly 8 months since PG Bones told me the boiler was broken, and it's been working flawlessly all this time. I paid £54 to PG Bones for no reason. I wouldn't use their services again.

Such friendly staff and they do a brilliant job! :) Today and efficient too!
