Affordable Water Heaters

What a scam. Get a plumbing license. Send service techs to homes assess that are in water crisis' and incorrectly assess the situation and tell the home owner there is nothing they can do and then charge $99 for the coming out. That is $200/hour. Imagine if they do that all day.. It was the water heater when they said it was not....! I had a leak in my garage coming beneath the water heater that sat on a 18" high pedestal. Affordable Water Heater's sent a very polite man to my home late, around 8pm. He assessed the leak by looking and sending pictures to his supervisor He explained to me that it is a slab leak not a water heater issue and charged me $99.00 for the his incorrect assessment. I paid him and then I went online to Home Advisors. Home Advisor recommended 3 companies and Ounce of Prevention Plumbing called right away and sent someone first thing in the morning per my request. Another very nice man came to my home. But, at first glance he let me know he could not be sure unless he cuts a small hole in the pedestal to see where the water is coming from. It ended up being the water heater... thank goodness it was not a slab leak.. $99 fee to come out and assess incorrectly should be refunded since they are a water heater company and assessed the situation incorrectly.

We called them last night because our Pilot light won't go back on. They had their sticker on our water heater so that is why we called them first. They told us they would be out between 8 and 10 this morning. They never showed up. We called just after 10 and they indicated they didn't have any service information on file. They said they would be there in an hour. They again didn't show up. I suppose in this wonderful economy of ours, they don't need our business. So the 3rd time we called, they were again incredibly rude so we just asked them to cancel our service call that apparently they were never going to answer. They hung up on us before even getting our address. I guess it is time to get a new sticker on our water heater. OH, by the way, they only got one star because I couldn't give them any less.
