Good and fair company call them. Everyone in the Bay area deserves a good plumbing company to come to their home when they need one.
David came from this business to replace a gas water heater in the basement of a 90 year old home. Very difficult job. In 3.5 hour he purchased the new water heater 40 gal gas Rheem, 19 inches wide to fit through a 19.5 inch space, unpacked it, pumped the flooded basement water out, carrying the buckets of water upstairs to be discarded, Second man, Sonic, arrived and helped. David had already carried out the old gas water heater, but together they carried the new one down and maneuvered it by the 1929 gas furnace and the wall, set it up. Then explained everything, turned it on, ANd we had hot water!! Competent, skilled, efficient, friendly, work and good instructions and explanation. Hope I don't have to call again but David as the lead on the job, was superb and his helped SOnic also worked very hard. thanks guys.
They came out for a leaking sink and gave me an estimate that included a $350 "emergency inspection" of my hot water heater and $900 for the sink. I called another plumber, who fixed the sink for $300 and said the other issue was bogus. Then I called their office 3 times to get an explanation and refund for the $65 house call since it was bogus - their secretary promised a response within 48 hours each time, but no one actually bothered calling me back. This is basically fraud, given how egregiously overpriced and unresponsive the company is.
These people should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. A 50 gallon water heater only costs about 500-600 dollars. They quoted over $3000 to install and dispose of an existing water heater. No one should ever pay that much. Do not use them. They are obviously taking advantage of people. They charge $65 dollars to come out and inspect and put you on the hook for the $65 bucks then give a quote for a service they know that no one in their right mind would pay for.
