The rant below is still valid... But since Flockheart have come out to repair my very unreliable Alpha boiler quickly and efficiently. The engineers have all been very polite and friendly, and done their absolute best to continually repair a bad boiler (not supplied or fitted by them). So apart from one bad experience with one person on the phone, they have been exelent. I took a day off work today and they cancelled my engineers visit at 11.53am by voicemail. That’s 7 minutes before the engineer was due to arrive. When I complained, the lady on the phone was entirely unsympathetic and quite harsh on the phone. I can’t say she was rude, but somehow made me feel like it was my fault for not have back up heating in the house. I understand this lady has probably been getting grief all day of customers because they’re letting a lot of people down and it’s -7 tonight, I know it’s not easy when things go wrong at work, but I feel the lady on the phone took her bad day out on me, and I’m the one with a 4 year old daughter in a house with no heating and no hot water in minus 7. When I told the lady this was unacceptable, she said quite abruptly, fine, I’m cancelling your order so you can go back to your manufacturer and they can find you someone else. It’s really not very good is it?

Excellent Service Helpful receptionist recorded details of the plumbing problem at my holiday cottage and said she would get an engineer out ASAP. About an hour later Jason phoned and I detailed the plumbing layout in the cottage and the problem. He phoned back later in the day and explained he had found the problem and sorted it out.There were German visitors in the cottage who were impressed by his manner and professional approach. This communication with the customer is very important and the engineer on this job could not have done better.All in all a very positive experience.
