I had to go out for an emergency dentist appointment when they came to plumb in our toilet and new sink. Also, to fix a leak under the kitchen sink. I gave them my number to call me if necessary. They put in a small vanity sink that looks completely ridiculous and is not practical. The tap gushes over it. ????. Also, and this is partly our fault, I had forgot to ask them to replace a tile that was leaning up against the wall by the bathroom. However, they didn’t call me and just plumber in the dolls house sink with the floor tile directly underneath missing! There is still a small leak under the kitchen sink. I think they charged nearly £900. I don’t expect cheap and cheerful for that kind in money.

I was recommend Pete to fit my new boiler. However when it came to the installation a different boiler was fitted to the one quoted for. The controls did not work for the first month, so had to rely on my immersion heater for hot water. Numerous phone calls and visits later an engineer from the boiler company comes out with the plumber to find out it has been wired incorrectly. I now had hot water. The weather became cold and needed to put the heating on, the heating would not cut out at the set temperature and my house was like a furnace, the boiler also would not cut out at the time set. Pete came out on the Saturday morning and said he would be out on the Monday (a days time) to sort it. Monday came and went, tried contacting Pete, polite messages left thinking that maybe he had forgotten or was delayed. I heard nothing. I called for the next 4 weeks and heard nothing from him and still have heard nothing over a month later my boiler is still out of control.

Pete Horton fitted our en suite shower room and the general quality of finish was acceptable but by no means was it a high level of finish and the service level after payment was terrible. It is our rental house so we were not readily available to check the progress. He charged extra for repairing a wall that he said was damaged after he removed the old tiles - we were only notified after the repair was carried out and therefore we had no choice but to pay extra. After a day or two the LED light fitting that he installed stopped working after sending repeated messages to him I have had no response whatsoever. I would not recommend this person to anyone.

Pete came out to our house and was very quick to repair our leak as water was pouring in to our Lounge.he had the job done in no time. and we will be using him again on other work.
