I've just had a full heating system installed in my property in Warwick, I am absolutely delighted with the standard of service which they provided. Initially the survey was undertaken by Martin and I received the quotation via email very quickly and following some minor changes made by myself we decided to proceed with the work and a date for commencement was agreed. On the date their engineers turned up promptly and got straight on with the work which was completed within four days to an excellent standard. I would have no hesitation in recommending this firm to any one as the level of service was both professional and courteous.
I had many problems with this company, some of which are still unresolved. They caused a leak in a pipe and then turned off the water and left and didn't come back for 4 days (they did fix it after). They didn't tell me about the leak, so I came home to find a surprise of water dripping through a kitchen light fitting and a puddle in the middle of my kitchen. They siliconed on top of old mouldy silicone, so the new silicone started peeling after a few days (they did fix this after). They said they couldn't put in the shower mixer I had picked out (and had been quoted for) because our pipe separation was not 150mm. They then installed what they said was equivalent and the only option due to the pipes. The mixer they put in is not pressure adjustable, only temperature adjustable (which they didn't mention). After they installed it and was unhappy with it, I measured the pipe separation and it was 150mm!! When I complained, they said they would swap only one shower mixer for the one I had wanted (we'd had two done), however when the guy came out he said it wasn't possible and then left. I am now stuck with two shower mixers that are not pressure adjustable and not what I wanted when I paid the original quote that was for pressure adjustable mixers. They only turned the water partially back on after working on the house. When I complained about the pressure they blamed our system. I have since figured out that the water wasn't turned all the way back on under the sink and now the pressure is fine. They re grouted the tiles in my shower and didn't smooth down the grout so it is now rough and filled with air gaps. They sent someone to fix it, and he said he didn't have time to strip out the old grout. He then demonstrated how to remove grout by putting a hole in the wall between two tiles, and said he would be back next week to fix it. When I complained that I needed to use the shower in the mean time he filled the hole with silicone. He did not come back the next week and I have not heard from the company since.
After having had Rheams do three separate jobs for us over the past few months, firstly they put a central heating system into our house removing all the storage heaters, secondly they put a new bathroom into my mothering laws next door, plus put new taps into downstairs toilet, thirdly they came replace new taps into downstairs toilet plus mixer tap into kitchen. All these jobs were well done and professionally taken care of in every way,the whole team from start to finish were friendly, helpful, pleasant and very helpful,a pleasure doing business with them, well done.
They came out to quote for chasing pipework into the brick wall, we had a detailed discussion about what was required. On the day they did the work they told me they wouldn't be cutting into the brickwork so the pipes are not buried and now I am going to have to plasterboard over them. Not happy that they quoted for a job they couldn't do !
Thank you to Chris and Charlie for my new bathroom towel rail. Excellent service.
