No turnout fees. Attended very quickly and sorted a blockage. Jim Mooney is very friendly and efficient.
Jim came to ours to fix a badly leaking radiator as an emergency and did a great job. I'd definitely use his services again and I'll recommend to others. He's polite, friendly and I felt very comfortable having him work in my home. His prices are competitive and the quality of his work really good. I know it can sometimes be hard to find tradespeople who you trust, are reliable and whose work is good quality but Jim is one of the few who gets a tick against all those categories. After inheriting some terrible DIY plumbing from the previous owners of my house, I'm glad I've found someone who I can trust to unbodge it. Thanks again!
This review is for a relevant who is 76 years of age that used Jim/Argyll plumbing services. Jim turned up to look at the flush on the toilet system and said it needs to be replaced. He went away for the part then returned with in the hour apparently with the new part and fitted in minutes and asked for payment of £245 I couldn't believe the price for a few minutes of work. He was paid in full then a few days later it stopped working again. I then asked a different plumber to come and look at the toilet and was told it had no new part fitted. It had been bodged. Mr Argyll was contacted and said it would cost a further £48 for the part plus extra for the labour. He the was told his services was no longer required.
Viv and Phil Have used Jim at Argyll Plumbing Services quite a few times over the years and have been extremely satisfied with the completed jobs - he works hard with good results and doesn't charge the earth. ☺
After being let down multiple times Jim came to the rescue and repaired a toilet leak that's caused significant damage to our house. He also spotted a major issue with how our toilet has been installed and has saved us from future potential problems, which we will definitely be getting him back in to fix. He's also replaced damaged sealant and done a very tidy job overall. Very satisfied customer here! Thanks Jim
