I wish that I could award zero stars but the system does not allow me to do so. The boiler "service" consisted of just removing the cover and using a hand-held device to produce a printout the size of a bus ticket. The engineer spent less than 20 minutes in my house and charged £60. That works out at an hourly rate of £180 per hour. Talk about big time, major league rip off. I have since found an engineer who carries out a really thorough service for £45. I recommend him to everyone I possible can and warn them to keep away from Topgas.
Fitted our new boiler, didn't mention the fact we needed a thermostat under building regulations. Boiler recently broke down top gas refused to attend, informed by a different company that top gas should have installed a thermostat and also a water outlet at the lowest point of heating system so pipes can be drained properly. None of this was done or mentioned. Feels like it was a cash grab situation now. Will not use in future and do not recommend!!!!
