Doctor Drain Plumbing

Called to fix drain backup and to coordinate with tenant. Next day called again to coordinate tenant and plumber myself. He charged $242 to rooter kitchen and bath drains, 1 hr job total. $121 per drain he says. A bit too pricey for me. I'll stick with the hourly plumbers.

Quoted me $350 and then surprised me with a bill of $679. At no point during the job was I informed of what he charged per hour and that the bill might be higher. All other plumbers in area work for 25% less per hour.

DO NOT USE . Came to house made a mess and has now left me without hot water for over 7 days. It is 6 degrees out and I have small grandchildren. He took my bathroom towels to clean floor. I have no way to clean --no hot water. Refuses to answer calls. Hot water was working prior to visit - had to relight pilot and jiggle thermostat.(AMERICAN HOME SHIED typical)

I really cannot say enough about Nick. One Thanksgiving the cabin was packed with relatives and dinner was just around the corner ......except my wonderful and I am not being sarcastic here nephew, yeah the same dude who attracted a visiting bear by pouring bacon grease off the back porch- overloaded the garbage disposal by shoving a ton of vegetable peelings down ye old garbage disposal and it did slam slam shut. to make a long story short, I found Dr. Drain (Nick) and yes it did take awhile but don't put it off i your bot a hotwater heat leak or a breaker that keeps shutting off. American Home shield her i mammoth lakes is the way to go with nick powering up your driveway on a holiday!
