Our Anniversary dinner is tonight and what happened the second my hubby went to work this am . . . . The Toilet Clogged. I spent from 8 am until noon working on it myself with warm water and dish soap. plunger, coat hangar, and an auger (which I broke almost immediately). When I finally called North Star Mechanical to help me get it unclogged, I had already cleaned up an overflowing toilet at least 4 times trying to get it unclogged myself. They were at our place by 4:00 pm that afternoon, he took about 45 minutes to unclog it for me and out the door and on their way again -- All within 2 minutes of my husband walking in the front door for a shower and to get ready for dinner - Sky was my technician and he was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. I can't thank you guys enough for your help! And it was reasonably priced for Saturday work, no appointment ahead of time and it was worth every single penny too! Thank you! I know who to call again! The job done by North Star Mechanical Ltd was professional, however the charges were unethical. I was charged 3 hours of plumbing when in fact they were there only for 1 hour. When I questioned, I was told that I had agreed to the quote and that there were other costs involved such as paper work!! This was first time I had heard that the customer has to pay for paperwork at $98 per hour. I will not use them again.
