Streamline Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning

Hired Streamline to assemble and install a gas line for a shop furnace. The owner told me they would have to use another company to put together the assembly and they would do the rest but turns out that other company also did the testing, accessed my yard, and issued the permit without my knowledge. The line went in quickly and was well-built (again by another company) but the final bill and permit information took six months to show up. When I inquired about a discount due to the half-year delay (majority of the heating season) and fact they’d acted as an unnecessary middle-man in this transaction and should have just referred me to the original company in the first place, I was scolded for not reminding them sooner. Overall the price was not out of line with the market but the owner still needs to work on his communication and ditch the blame others for his own disorganization and selective disclosure approach. They’ve also independently done AC work for my parents. The initial work and response from one of their employees was good, but again the billing took a long time and they had to chase them down for the bill. The next year when the same AC problems showed up (full disclosure: not the fault of this company as they did not do initial install only attempted to repair another company’s problem) Streamline did not bother to return their calls. It seems that the only thing streamlined about this company is the lacking customer service and magnet on their truck door. I'd rate at 2.5 stars but am giving 3 as at least the company they sub-contracted to did decent work on the assembly.
