My furnace had a leaking gas valve which needed to be repaired in a timely manner. Trusting that this was a reputable company, I called and asked to have a new gas valve ordered and installed. This was on January 2, and I was told that they would get back to me with a quote and an install date. After nearly two weeks of hearing nothing, I called back to follow up on January 15th. They had no idea what I was calling for and had to try and find the furnace model and serial number information I left them back on January 2. The receptionist then returned my call later that day and said that by the end of the week they would call me and let me know when they could install it. I should have just told them right then to forget about it as I felt like I could not trust them. I gave them one week, and still heard nothing. Frustrated, I decided to reach out to another local company as I was getting concerned the gas leak was getting worse in the peak of the heating season. They were not only very friendly, they quoted me $140 for the same gas valve that climate care quoted $179 for (new part, like for like in both cases). I gave the other company a shot, and they showed up two days later to promptly repair the furnace. Since the gas valve failed prematurely, they ended up getting the valve repaired under warranty as an added bonus. Excellent customer service. Fast forward to today, January 29th, 2 WEEKS after the follow up phone call and 27 days since I placed the first my first call with Climate Care, I get a call from the receptionist stating that the valve was in and for me to book a date. After informing her that someone else already completed the job, she informed me that "because you gave authorization to install the part you are responsible for the charges". After refusing to pay, the phone call became heated, eventually ending in her stating that I was to "not call the company ever again." I recommend that anyone considering this company stay away. They are clearly disorganized, rude, and don't care when you have a gas leak. I can't believe that after the 27 days of garbage I went though with them they still had the audacity to demand that I pay for the gas valve that they ordered. Find someone else!

Called to get them to come fix my propane firepace in the middle of a winter freeze where the temperature is -30c and they told me they r not taking anymore clients? I'm sorry what ? So I'm left with no heat in the freezing cold weather and THEY ARE NOT TAKING ANYMORE CLIENTS? WOW...worst customer service I've ever heard of ????.
