When i called Shanks Plumbing Cathy answered the phone right away which was refreshing. We discussed my situation and as luck would have it, she could have Jon stop by within the hour. Jon was Polite, courteous and professional. Work was completed in very good time considering we are Downtown Toronto. I would and will recommend Shanks Plumbing anytime some asks 'Do You Know a Good Plumber'

Worst plumbing service ever! Tenant called them in to investigate a leak in the house, they found Nothing the first day and left with an invoice of $180. Tenant called them the second day as leak remains, they started working without quote and my consent and left with an invoice of $1290+, and admit themselves the problem Remain Unsolved. I took photos and consulted a trust worthy plumber and get an entirely different diagnose of the leak and quote of $250. Shame on you Shanks! You are conducting a dirty business, you lost your professionalism and honesty! Whoever founded this company 70 years ago will be disappointed how you are carrying the brand right now!
Nov 5 2018. Service was completed at our home in midtown Toronto, at the time set up. I would not hesitate to use Shanks again in the future. I would also recommend them to my friends. Mark, was the service person and he was knowledgable and took the time to explain to me what was being done. Thanks, Mark.
I have had three different plumbers visit from Shanks and stay as satisfied as ever. First, they're very courteous, even personable. They do the job without turning the customer into an assistant, and they don't break or damage anything else in the process of doing their repair! Last, they don't leave a mess for the customer to clean up. Everything they fix stays fixed too, so I am happy to pay their middle-range price as I am getting long-term value. Now, what's the matter with that?
