Excellent service by two very knowledgeable gentlemen at the parts/service counter. Such a refreshing change compared with too many clueless, indifferent (or just a lack of) people who just don't get the concept of customer service. I would recommend this place to everyone.
Has all the parts that one needs and very knowledgeable staff
I"ll start by saying that I have worked in customer service for over a decade and never have encountered a lack of follow up from a company such as this one and I have seen alot. We were recommended this place by our contractor. We purchased a shower glass, a bathtub, some faucets and a 16inch rain shower. all in all the sale and service went smoothly. We were promised dates for all of our merchandise that we PAID IN FULL FOR. As my contractor was preparing to install our shower glass he told wrong glass was delivered to us. This delayed our washroom by a few days. No big deal as these things happen and we are not unreasonable people. The following week the new glass came in and it was installed successfully. Meanwhile we called this company 6 times to have the other glass doors (which were in our hands now and we were responsible for). 4 weeks later they decided to send a truck to pickup the glass with one employee to lift 150-250lbs parts of glass. I kindly helped the employee (who looked distraught and was struggling on his own) place the merchandise back into the truck. All this had not been an issue, we are very understanding people and seeing as I work in customer service I can attest that things happen all the time, ONCE AGAIN NO BIG DEAL FOR US, We then proceeded to install what we thought was a 16inch Riobel shower head that was PAID IN FULL. I measured the head and it was only the 12inch version. When I contacted the representative that we purchased from I was told the 16inch shower head is still not available and it currently on a ship in transport and it would take another 2-3 weeks, why were we not advised about this?? This was sometime at the beginning of July. I followed up 4 weeks later myself thinking perhaps they were too busy and possibly forgot?? Nope, instead I got a response from someone telling me that I should speak to a supervisor. I left a message to the supervisor, 3 days later still no follow up or call back?? I then called back again, finally spoke to the supervisor who told me that the shower head was still not in stock and they would call me when it was. I asked them politely that I was told 2-3 weeks already, the supervisor cut me off completely and told me it is on "the ship" and they will contact us when it arrived, no compensation offered, not even an apology. We are now September 10th over two months later and still no call back from Vague&Vogue. I decided to call back one last time before I wrote this review. I have never once wrote a negative review towards a company since I am EXTREMELY Understanding. However enough is enough I need people to hear about the less than stellar experience with this company after our sale. I called back this morning and finally spoke to a kind lady that was willing to help and she apologized. She told me I would receive a call back, I was sceptical, she assured me. Finally she did call back and was told by a representative that our shower head is on "the ship" and that it will be another 1-3 weeks before it will be in stock. Now I am really confused and feel like I am being taken for an idiot. No apologies from the representative or the manager in charge and no offer of compensation from anywhere? This to me as a consumer who PAID EVERYTHING IN FULL is not acceptable and I felt compelled to write this review. I am truly baffled by what is going on. The answer I got numerous times from the company "We gave you a 12inch shower head for the time it takes so what is the problem?" That is not the way to approach a situation, especially because we have been patient for over 2 months, they don't comprehend the principal, and we only called them a total of 3-4 times in the span of over two months for a follow up??!!!.. This company fails to care about some of it's consumers I suppose or maybe because we didn't spend $50 000?? Still waiting for our part.
If you need plumbing supplies or advice ,the parts department is the place to go. Very friendly and professional they will take time to solve your problems. 5 stars. BUT .......... After sales service for me was a major fail. I had a defective American Standard toilet and they told me they would take care of it and call me back. Well they didn't call me back. I called back and the circle continued. Promises to escalate the matter and call back. No call back. Ever. After 2 months I got fed up and called American Standard myself. ONE CALL and the parts were at my door in 10 days. Customer service should be number one for a retail establishment. This place doesn't get it.
