After dealing with fireside, 307, and champion for several years over a air conditioner that never kept the house cool like the one it replaced. We were treated very poorly. The owner and several of his technicians were very rude and unprofessional. They are quick to collect their fees and then leave you high and dry. I would not recommend them to any one

I had a leaking drain pipe inside my basement wall. I called champion due to a recommendation from a friend. The drywall was already torn out so you could see exactly what the issue was. A guy showed up to fix the issue. After looking at the problem he tried to give me an estimate. He then said his iPad wasn't working to write the estimate and he also needed a helper so he was going to the shop and would be back shortly. A little while later, I received a text from the guy saying he couldn't get back until the next day between 11 and 1. That was the last I heard from him. Shortly after 1 the next day, I called the office to find out what was going on. I was told by the lady who answered that she thought they had already spoken to me but they had got hung up on an earlier job and were running late. A few minutes later I received a text from the guy saying he would be over shortly and also gave me my estimate which I found extremely high. I told him I wanted an itemized receipt. He said he couldn't do that so I asked to see exactly what I was being charged for. He said he couldn't show me that either, only a total price so I told him nevermind, I would find someone else which I did. The quote champion gave me was for $550 dollars. I bought the parts for $30 and the new company fixed it in 2 hours. I understand that a company needs to make money but that is ridiculous. Also, I think everyone is entitled to see exactly what they are spending their hard earned money on.

First off the technician came to my door with booties in his hand, he came in was very professional, I knew who to expect because they sent a message with a picture beforehand, his thoroughness was excellent and I was so happy I signed for their member package. I recommend these guys all the way!

Showed up earlier than scheduled, very thorough, friendly knowledgeable! Highly recommended!

Dwayne, Abby, and Brian were all very professional and helpful. Brian had my heater working again in less than an hour. He was prompt, knowledgeable and kind. He even wore shoe covers while in the house. The prices are fair, and they don't try to take advantage of the fact that Evanston is a small town with limited choices.
